ABOUT THE ACADEMY
Esthetics Board Prep Academy provides supplemental preparation for the esthetics written licensing exam. We do not grant licenses, replace required esthetics schooling, or guarantee a passing exam score. Completing our course does not qualify you for licensure. Students are responsible for meeting their state licensing board’s education, examination, and application requirements.
We understand that preparing for a licensing examination can feel overwhelming. With an extensive amount of information to review, knowing where to focus can be challenging. Our goal is to simplify the preparation process by providing structured, engaging, and accessible educational support.
Our academy offers a comprehensive six-day, live online exam preparation program designed to reinforce essential esthetics concepts and strengthen students' understanding of key examination topics.
Through small cohorts, interactive instruction, and a focused curriculum, students receive a supportive learning experience that encourages participation, understanding, and confidence.
At Esthetics Board Prep Academy, we believe that effective preparation goes beyond memorization.
Our mission is to help students develop a stronger understanding of the material, improve their test-taking confidence, and feel better prepared to take the next step toward professional licensure.

Six live online classes over two weeks

MEET THE FOUNDER
I’m Maricia, founder of Esthetics Board Prep Academy. After eight years as a dental assistant in the United States Air Force, I brought my passion for care and attention to detail into esthetics, becoming a licensed esthetician and opening my body waxing studio in 2021.
I created this academy to help build on what they’ve learned in school, strengthen their understanding, and approach their written board exam with confidence.
I currently maintain active esthetician licenses in three states and have completed the required coursework for esthetics instructor licensure. As I work toward becoming a registered nurse (RN), I’ve also completed college-level coursework in anatomy, physiology, and chemistry, further strengthening my foundation in the sciences.
Through Esthetics Board Prep Academy, I bring together my clinical background, industry experience, and passion for education to make exam preparation clear, focused and approachable for aspiring estheticians.
